Board+Train programs are an elite educational experience! These programs are where your dog lives with Kiley and her family in their home, getting a jumpstart on lifestyle and obedience goals, behaviour modification, and the dog’s state of mind. There will still be work to be done for the family when the dog returns home, but the dog has learned new skills with us, and the family will now be learning how to use and continue to advance those skills during that time as well for use in their home environment! Included in our B+T programs is 1 pre-program session, weekly training sessions for the family while their dog is with us, as well as multiple follow up sessions after the dog returns home.

Our 4 week program covers foundations such as crate and potty training, socialization and exposure, name recognition, clicker conditioning and confidence building, and introduction to loose leash walking and recall. While the puppy is with us you have weekly sessions with us, and 4 follow up sessions once the pup returns home to continue the progress!
The 8wk PR program continues with that foundation, getting further into obedience and lifestyle skills, and taking those skills to various locations to increase the challenge. Common commands we work on in this are heel, sit, down, place, come, out, kennel, and off, as well as behaviours like vehicle travel, thresholds, grooming and general handling, swimming, and others depending on individual goals and learning abilities. With this program in total you would receive 8 weekly sessions while the puppy is with us, and 8 follow up sessions once the pup returns home!

Socialization and play is done with our staff, personal dogs, or with other training dogs who are eligible to do so, with all dogs being advocated for to maintain a safe environment. Individual playtimes with staff members will be conducted for dogs who aren’t yet ready for group socials!
All dogs must provide up-to-date vaccination records with Rabies, and DHPP, and recommended is Bordetella and Leptospirosis, as well a flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Any vaccine updates must be done at least 1 week prior to training, as well as a clean/negative Fecal Antigen Test with Giardia, done yearly.
